Visible Theory has launched a web site for Examkrackers, a leading publisher of test preparation materials.

Examkrackers focuses on test preparation for standardized exams throughout the United States by providing live courses, books, audio CDs, and CD Roms. Examkrackers approached Visible Theory to create a web site that would allow the company to communicate more efficiently with customers, sell products, and deliver information regarding the company to the general public. The innovative Examkrackers web site features forums that allow customers to interact directly with Examkrackers personnel, extensive E-Commerce capabilities, and an extensive no-maintenance Content Management System that allows Examkrackers personnel to manipulate web site content without outside programming assistance.

The Content Management System, designed specifically for Examkrackers, allows Examkrackers personnel to make in-house changes and updates to the web site without any programming. Through the custom system, Examkrackers personnel with little training can manipulate content on the web site so that changes and updates can be made at no outside cost and on frequent basis.

The technological ease created by Visible Theory is also apparent in the web site’s E-Commerce capabilities. One feature is a real time sales reporting and inventory tracking application, integrated seamlessly into the backend functionality. The custom features also include information resources such as databases, ledgers and accounting systems to allow transactions to flow flawlessly on a secure connection.

The web site also showcases communication features that connect customers to the company on a highly accessible and frequent basis. The interactive aspects include an online forum and a thread messaging system that aid the company’s goals of providing novel features rare in its industry. Both features create an environment of constant communication between the company and its students. To generate an additional means of revenue, the online forum provides a semi-private message board where students can get specific questions answered, along with pre-prepared advice and tips for students to view. The thread messaging system allows for speedy delivery of communication between the instructors and students.
