How cool would it be to buy a ticket for a concert, movie or event and have it delivered right onto your cell phone? Well, this technology is coming and Visible Theory is helping to make that happen.

We’ve just created a user interface application suite to allow administrative management of the back-end databases at Zippline, Inc. Our interfaces will allow Zippline and their clients to set-up and control real-time ticketing data and deployment. This includes but it not limited to venue creation and seat/ticketing assignment, purchases over secure web connection and delivery of MMS barcode tickets.

Once a ticket purchase is complete, the end-user will receive a MMS message on his/her cell phone. The user will then bring the cell phone to the venue where the MMS barcode ticket will be scanned using a barcode reader.

This certainly is a very exciting project…we are currently hard at work on several other components of the Zippline system including ticketing kiosks, point-of-sale applications and on-line eCommerce solutions.
