Hangar One Vodka, Re-Branded
Visible Theory has recently completed the first phase in a new branding, advertising and packaging campaign for the highly acclaimed vodka, Hangar One.
After an in-depth selection process, Visible Theory was chosen from among multiple bids to launch a re-branding campaign for Hangar One, a fruit-infused vodka line from Craft Distillers. Advertising, packaging and point of sale comprise the current overhaul and form the first phase to position Hangar One in key high-end markets throughout the country.
“We had tried for 18 months to realize the Hangar One design concept with other companies, and it was not going well. Visible Theory nailed it within 24 hours of our first contact, in fact better than we had ever hoped,” says Ansley Coale, President, Craft Distillers.
The goal was to create an identity that had a classic art deco feel reminiscent of a post-industrial age yet would still translate well to a modern audience. In essence, the challenge of the project was to create an instant classic. The campaign includes the design of print materials for advertising mediums and packaging including magazine ads, in-store/in-restaurant materials, restaurant cards and bottle packaging, cartons and display stands.
“We want to maintain the integrity and industry buzz that Hangar One already has while creating a totally new presence with consumers,” said Scott Wolfe, Creative Director, Visible Theory. “The superiority of the product and its exclusive production call for the creation of a brand reflective of unparalleled quality.”
In the upcoming, Visible Theory will begin the next phase with a complete redesign of the company’s web site and the start of an extensive signage and display campaign focused on establishing the product in major high-end venues.
